For full day wedding coverage, over 500 edited images. I edit to the highest possible standard and will only provide you with pictures I think are wonderful. I normally provide 2 folders - the pictures which I think are the absolute best summary of your wedding day, and a second folder with additional great shots.

To simplify your choices for prints or albums, I remove close duplicate images. However, I'll always leave in shots with distinct differences in expression, giving you options where it truly matters.

I find that an overload of similar photos makes it harder to pick favorites. My goal is to streamline this process, presenting you with a curated selection so you can easily choose the images you love best.

I shoot with two 100 million pixel medium format digital cameras, so there is no real limit on the size you can print your photographs. I’ve made 22 metre wide prints, displayed on the side of a major department store, and installed prints up to 4 metres wide for a boutique property development. The quality will be excellent!

Yes please! It makes it much easier to get your perfect wedding album if I know who the key people are. It’s really helpful if you can nominate someone who knows the guests well - maybe a bridesmaid or groomsman - and who can help finding people for all the key group photos. This will help minimise the time spent taking pictures, and maximise the time you have to enjoy seeing your guests. Sometimes getting people together for pictures can be a little like herding cats!

A wedding is a vibrant, live event, and by its very nature, it's unpredictable. While I always strive to capture everyone, it's worth bearing in mind that sometimes it's simply not possible to photograph absolutely every guest – especially if a few are determined to avoid the camera!

When it comes to the formal posed group shots, I recommend limiting them to ten or fewer. While I work as quickly and efficiently as possible, gathering everyone for group photos can be quite time-consuming. Most couples much prefer enjoying their reception and chatting with guests rather than spending too much time posing for photographs.

If you're having a large number of guests, a good solution is to arrange one big group photo of everyone together. This ensures you get a shot of all your loved ones without taking up too much of your precious wedding day.

I’m in Brighton so a lot of my weddings are in the South-East and London, but I regularly photograph all over the UK and I’ve shot weddings as far away as Mauritius, Los Angeles and Hawaii!

Travel costs between Brighton and London areas are included but for travel over 2 hours I will normally need accommodation provided at an additional cost. It’s important for me to be fresh to capture the best possible pictures!

If you’re based nearby we can meet in Brighton; if you’re further afield it’s great to meet on Zoom / FaceTime / WhatsApp. It’s important for you to know you’ll feel comfortable working with me to get the best possible pictures of your special day. We’ll be hanging out together for a good 10 hours so you have to feel I’m the right match for you.

I love to have another meeting a few weeks before the wedding to go through the shot list and finalise any other details. This is a good opportunity for you to introduce me to the trusted friend or family member you’ve picked to help me keep track of who’s who on the big day.

Booking a pre-wedding shoot makes the perfect opportunity to meet, get used to working with me, and shoot capture some relaxed photos in one of your favourite places.

Absolutely. It's a great opportunity to get to know each other in a relaxed way before the big day, so can be a real asset. You get to be photographed exactly as you want, without the time pressure or relatives hanging around.

A second photographer often isn’t necessary - for the majority of my weddings I shoot on my own - but can sometimes be helpful. One main advantage is that it allows us to capture photographs of both bride and groom if you are getting ready in different locations. If you are both preparing close by or in the venue, this might well not be needed. We can talk through in more detail when we have a pre-booking call if you’d like to consider having a second photographer.

It's a great question, and the answer is a resounding yes! A professional wedding photographer absolutely must have backup gear.

I always have two cameras on me, so I’ve always got a spare body ready to capture every precious moment as it unfolds. In my bag, you'll also find multiple lenses and flash equipment, ready for all eventualities.

My cameras shoot to two memory cards simultaneously. This means if one card fails, there's always a backup. Additionally, I back up to external hard drives multiple times during the day, so I will leave your wedding with multiple copies of each picture.

I take a 30% deposit upon booking to secure the date. This is refundable for the first 14 days and then becomes non-refundable. The balance is due in full 30 days before the wedding. If you cancel within a year of the wedding then you are still liable to pay 100% of the contract value. I turn away multiple clients each year for dates that I am already booked, this fee represents the work I turned away in honouring my agreement with you. Payment by bank transfer.

Your privacy and the safety of your wedding photographs are paramount to me. I ensure all your images are backed up in three locations.

Having worked with many high-profile clients, I understand the need for absolute discretion. I do not automatically share every wedding I photograph on my social media channels or website. If you prefer that your images remain entirely private, please simply let me know.

I manage your pictures with a clear archiving strategy. I keep all files for three years, after which only the unselected images are securely deleted. The final pictures are then moved into a permanent archive. This means that even if you misplace your files, your wedding photos are safely stored.

Finally, while I invest heavily in secure storage, I always recommend that you also back up your pictures in multiple places, and ideally make prints of your favourite photos. No technology offers a 100% guarantee of accessibility for future generations, and your grandchildren are much more likely to be able to see a physical album than a selection of digital images!

I aim to send you a sneak peek selection within a week or sometimes even sooner. At the height of the wedding season it can take 6-8 weeks for me to send you your final edit, but for most of the year, it’s about 4 weeks.

All photographs are individually colour graded and optimised to make them look as good as possible. If you need extra retouching (people removed, combining multiple photos etc), I can do this for an additional fee.

While it's certainly not mandatory, providing a meal for me is genuinely appreciated and incredibly helpful.

Being on my feet from early morning to late at night is pretty intense and physically tiring. Being able to sit down for a warm meal helps to keep my creativity flowing. If this won’t be possible, please let me know in advance so I can bring packed food.

Absolutely yes! I am fully insured with £2M public and product liability worldwide and £250000 professional indemnity cover. A photographer without insurance isn’t protecting their clients and themself properly.
